On October 25, 2009, Kelly Tidwell and Lindsey Matteson participated in and finished the 34th Marine Corps Marathon as part of the 600 member Team Semper Fi. Lindsey finished in approximately 5 hours beating Kelly by almost an hour and 20 minutes. No winners or losers here though as the money raised between the two of them came to a total of $4,830.00, a large portion of which came from Elite Power System’s generator sales (Elite donated $100.00 for every 30kW and smaller generator sold). This money raised helped Team Semper Fi reach their final goal of raising $350,000.00, which will be used to aid in the recovery of injured marines & sailors by covering expenses not covered by health insurance (like plane tickets for families to be at the bedside of an injured loved one, or transportation to and from doctor’s appointments). A special thanks goes out to all who donated money and support and to all who purchased generators to help raise money for this excellent cause!

Elite was asked by the Arlington CPRO to provide temporary
power for the Arlington Farmer's Market due to the very successful Home
Show last month. This event is an annual outing for the community and
the generator was used to supply power for the band that played
throughout the day.
Elite was a sponsoring member of the 1st annual Arlington
Home Show held at the Walter Reed Community Center on April 21, 2007.
Elite provided all electrical power through a temporary rental generator
free of charge to the CPRO. Elite also had booths inside and outside to
display their backup generator systems. Several local contractors and
service providers were on hand to participate in this event. Elite's
services were highlighted through an interview on the very popular

Elite will be relocating to a new 2100 square
foot office/warehouse in Sterling during the next few
months. We are building out a new office space within
the warehouse and hope to be completed by the end of
this year. The warehouse space is needed for our ever-growing
backup generator business not to mention a larger facility
to store lighting materials for our homeowner and contractor
projects. Additionally, we are very happy to announce
that we have hired an Office Manager to assist in our
everyday duties. Ms. Tina Hare is coming aboard to handle
the new office and she will be the new voice on the
phone to assist you in getting what you need. We look
forward to introducing her to all of you.
