Keltid Construction was founded in 2000, by Kelly Tidwell, as a full service contractor for the DC metropolitan area. In 2005, Elite Electrical Corporation was created when owner and CEO, Kelly Tidwell, decided to focus on what he liked best about construction: electrical contracting. Elite is now the leading electrical services provider in the DC, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania area. Elite is dedicated to providing the best solutions in the industry and strives to serve the clientele it represents.

Elite not only provides excellent services to our clients, we also proudly serve our nation. Starting in 2005 by partnering with the Great Falls community and The Neighbors Network, we provided our truck, trailer, and donated goods to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport, Mississippi. Continuing through 2005-2006 we partnered with Homes For Our Troops to assist with building and remodeling homes for our severely disabled troops who sustained injuries in the war(s) overseas.

President and Master Electrician, Kelly Tidwell currently teaches the third year of Virginia Tradesman Electrical Apprenticeship Training. He believes instructing upcoming electricians will assist in providing a solid foundation for their future careers. This type of service helps bond his belief that working closely with the community will assist in his personal growth as well as the growth of Elite in both size and experience.

Kelly not only teaches electrical students to build a better foundation, he also ensures the quality of workmanship Elite provides by offering a number of different education options to all employees. So far, Elite has had employees attend an Eaton Cutler Hammer Certification course as part of the Eaton Cuttler Hammer Certified Contractors Network. Two members of Elite's generator crew have attended Kohler classes to obtain Kohler service certifications. There are also multiple members of the Elite team enrolled in Virginia Tradesman Electrical Apprenticeship Training. Arturo Julian will complete his 4th and final year in the program at the end of May, 2009, and Wayland Safford and Frank Stankiewicz will complete their first year in the program at the end of May, 2009 as well.
